Types of Uterine fibroids:-
- Intramural – most common & located within the walls of the uterus; asymptomatic unless large
- Subserosal – located underneath the mucosal surface & can become very large
- Submucosal – located in the muscle beneath the endometrium & distorts uterine cavity; may lead to bleeding & infertility.
